Market Street Philanthropic Advisors, Inc. provides  a complete Design & Administrative Support Package to the client, and their professional advisors.

 

Initial Services:

· Prepare illustrations showing charitably leveraged financial planning applications .

· Hold personal meetings with the Donor and/or professional advisors to provide support and technical advice throughout the process.

· Provide the Donor’s attorney with the IRS approved prototype charitable remainder trust agreement for the attorney’s approval.

· Prepare the IRS forms 8283, 5227 & 1041A which provide the information necessary to take the charitable deduction on the donor’s Federal Income Tax Return.

· Create the Donor’s personalized MSPA management system binder . The management binder provides a record keeping system that maintains copies of the CRT and insurance documents , tax returns, monthly statements, and other correspondence and support data.

 

Continuing Services:

· Preparation of the Federal Tax Return for the Trustee, including K-1 and informational returns.

· Oversee safekeeping of assets and the collection of interest, dividends, and other income in the CRT and insurance policies.

· Provide ongoing CRT accounting and record the annual trust revaluation.

· Direct the distribution of income to the income beneficiaries.

· Coordinate the cash-f low among the CRT, income beneficiaries, and the insurance policies as needed.

· Direct the distribution of assets to the selected charities at the trust termination.

· Miscellaneous record keeping needed to keep the CRT and insurance policies updated and compliant.

· Continuing maintenance of the MSPA management system binder.

· Annual review with the Donor, trustee (if different from the donor), the donor’s advisors and family.

 

Fees:

Initial Design and Set-up fee: $975.00

Annuity Trusts:

Based upon the initial account value and fixed for the term of the CRAT.
